From September 27th to 29th, IntoCare , participated in the 18th Scientific Conference of the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP) in Vilnius, Lithuania. ESCP is a professional organization that promotes the prevention and treatment of colorectal disease through education, training and research.
IntoCare's CEO, Eva Zhang, along with the global sales and marketing team, presented the company's innovative Intelligent Powered Stapling Platform with E-Stapling Technology.
At the conference, IntoCare was delighted to host Dr. Jaro Van Zande at our booth, where he presented his clinical study on the Bow Tie Technique: A New Technique for Single Stapled Anastomosis. The Bow Tie Technique is a safe and feasible method for creating a transabdominal single stapled anastomosis after sigmoidectomy or (low) anterior resection. Dr. Jaro shared this clinical study results and demonstrated it with an animated video. This new technique attracted many visitors who were impressed by the simplicity and elegance of the technique, and engaged in lively discussions with Dr. Jaro Van Zande. During these discussions, Dr. Van Zande highlighted that IntoCare Powered Circular Stapler offers several advantages for this technique, such as its powered operation, which reduces the firing force, its powered closing, firing and opening, which minimizes the movement of the distal end, and its proper opening distance after firing, which prevents suction. These features enhance staple line integrity and reduce tissue trauma and possible leakage.
At the end of the first day of the congress, IntoCare organized a delightful welcome dinner. The attendees had the opportunity to unwind and socialize with their peers while enjoying the local cuisine.
Throughout the course of the three-day event, a significant number of visitors who eagerly shared their candid impressions of the IntoCare Intelligent Powered Stapling Platform. Attendees unanimously lauded the platform for its outstanding quality, ergonomic design and easy operation. Their resounding praise underscored the platform's remarkable attributes and left a lasting impression on all who encountered it.
