On August 19th, Prof. Li Xinxiang's team from Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center completed the first case of an enrolled patient in a multi-center clinical study of the application of powered stapling technology in colorectal surgery. The operation was a complete success.
This clinical research adopts a multi-center, randomized, parallel controlled non-inferiority research design, involving 10 clinical centers across the country, led by Prof. Li Xinxiang. The purpose of this research is to study and analyze the safety and effectiveness of IntoCare’s new intelligent powered stapling platform in colorectal surgery, and combine clinical research to familiarize and improve the operation of the powered stapler. This clinical research also meant to further promote the powered stapling technology, provide clinical data and establish standard operating specifications.
