Colon cancer is a common malignant tumor of the digestive system. The right colon is more likely to metastasize than the left colon with rich lymphatic reflux, rich blood, and complex anatomical structure. Complete mesocolic excision (CME) is the common treatment for the right colon. Traditional open laparotomy can completely remove the right colon cancer tissue, but the resection is wider and has a greater impact on the immune function, which is not only not conducive to postoperative recovery, but also increases the probability of cancer cell immune escape. With the development of minimally invasive surgeries, the role and advantages of laparoscopy have become more and more obvious, and CME treatment has begun to be widely implemented. CME can not only effectively reduce postoperative complications, but also improve the long-term efficacy, improve the 5-year survival rate of patients, and reduce the 5-year local recurrence rate, which is of great significance for the improvement of patients' disease treatment and quality of life.
In order to improve surgical techniques and treatment effects, all the famous experts gathered together to capture new information, explore new technologies, and exchange new experiences.
