On June 6th, 2023, IntoCare, the world's first intelligent powered stapling platform provider, launched the second wet lab immersion workshop of the year in Milan, Italy. The workshop aimed to provide a platform for surgeons to evaluate the new technology and to exchange their experiences with global influencers.

The workshop started with a company presentation by Riina Tsurkan, our EU Sales Manager, who gave a brief introduction of our company history, vision and mission. She also highlighted the features and benefits of the E-Stapling Technology, which offers an ergonomic, intuitive and uniformed stapling system that reduces the learning curve for surgeons and boosts confidence in consistent anastomotic integrity.

Following that, Dr. Cosimo Lequaglie from Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico in Italy shared a study that compared IntoCare stapler with a market leading brand’s manual stapler. The result showed that IntoCare Powered Stapler reduced the operative time and blood loss, which inspired all participants on site.

In the afternoon, 12 surgeons from Europe joined the hands-on session, where they had the opportunity to experience the IntoCare Intelligent Powered Stapling Platform. They were impressed of the smooth and simple operation and perfect staple formation. Two of the senior surgeons commented that our stapler was absolutely brilliant, lightweight and intuitive. The Spanish surgeons had already contacted their supervisor to say that this was a must-have product.
